Working Toward a Paperless Office. In this seminar, you will learn how to transition from a paper-based filing system to an paperless system. You will be guided through the process of opening, maintaining, closing, and archiving a case file. You will also learn helpful shortcuts for each stage of the file process. There will also be a discussion on maintaining confidentiality and tracking deadlines electronically. 

Michael L. Wagner has been in private practice for 19 years, a bankruptcy trustee for 12 years, and an associate justice on the Northern Plains Intertribal Court of Appeals for 5 years. In 2000, he started the transition to paperless trustee files. Since then, he has done the same with private practice files, including archival of closed files. He has presented a number of seminars on law office technology throughout the country including Washington, D.C., San Diego and many places in between. He and his wife, Lynda, reside in Bismarck, North Dakota and have three daughters.
