“Fundamentals of Editing and Proofreading” is designed for those paralegals who are good writers but who have made unnecessary and embarrassing grammatical mistakes.  The course will review the common pitfalls of incorrect grammar, spelling and word usage in everyday business settings that can spoil professional writing and that befall everyone from time to time.  The course will also examine the ways to help you recognize and correct those small errors that can be so costly for you as well as your bosses as well as how to “trim the excess fat” and get right to the point in your writing, resulting in clear and concise products.  Participants are encouraged to ask questions about their specific trouble areas.

What past participants have said:

I liked that we were given printable materials to follow along with and take notes. I also liked that Claire brought her own practical on-the-job knowledge to this course.
